Explain something to me. Why is cmu a good backup if you need to restore it manually???? If you take my script, and basically untar it, starting from a full back up, then do the partials, it works wonders. With that script you do not have to set up anything.
Okay. So basically what you are saying is to use your script to do the backups then if I needed to do a complete restore all I'd have to do is untar the backups? All users/options/emails/settings, etc. etc. would magically come back?
You confused me by say the import would cost $$$$$$$$$$$$$....and then in your next message you seem to suggest all it takes is an untar.
Can you clarify how one would go about doing a full system restore using your backup method?
