We have a second Qube3 professional - same as the main one and I'm backing
up straight to it using the Backup options (FTP) in the GUI interface.
We chose this path since the Qube3 is on the optional (standalone) network
- it segregates our inbound internet traffic just to that box. We didn't
want to open up our firewall to let people come in (to the Qube on the
optional) and traverse to our internal (trusted) network. To get around
this we added a second Qube3 on the optional network so Qubes can ftp to
each other. Your can use CMU for disaster recovery or infact the Backup
Restore options to bring the backup one to life!
Talk to me offline if you want to discuss it further
