I'm seeing a number of "new un-opened" RAQ3i machines surface for sale at the moment, which I'm being told are offered with Fully warranty - I'm a little sceptical as to how the warranty might work on a machine that's been end-of-lifed for such a long time. Does anyone have any experience of trying to make a warranty claim on such a machine?
The main reason I'm asking, is that if the warranty is out the window, then I'd simply crack them open, and drop in a 500mhz or 550mhz processor and wire the CPU socket - what would it matter if the warranty was out?!?
