[cobalt-users] Help!!! RaQ4 meltdown

In a rash moment, I've seriously wrecked my system. I was getting pissed
off with cobalt-Java pack, so I decided to disable it's version of
Tomcat and downloaded JWSDP and installed it. Now I installed it on the
volume /usr , and at the end of the installation I got an IO error
message when it tried to close the uninstall script file (I just thought
it was a bug in the installation script). It turns out I ran out of
space, and hence the system services choked to death (Postgres, then
everything that relied on it). When I knew what was going on, I deleted
JWSDP and restarted, but the system is no longer working properly.
Apache is no longer starting up (both the port 80 one and the port 81
admin). I tried to get init to reread inittab with telinit, and after
that didn't do anything I tried to manually start apache, but all to no
avail.
What's going on??? How do I climb out of this hole I dug myself???

Help!!
