[cobalt-users] request for help with software update perl error

Hello all,

I'm running a Cobalt Qube3 and I've been encountering the following 
error whenever software update runs

Can't locate URI/Escape.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/sausalito/perl 
/usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i586-linux /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.0 
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i586-linux 
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0 /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl . 
/usr/sausalito/perl) at /usr/sausalito/perl/SWUpdate.pm line 18.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/sausalito/perl/SWUpdate.pm 
line 18.
Compilation failed in require at /usr/sausalito/sbin/grab_updates.pl 
line 24.

I'm not a perl expert, but I can run vi, ssh, and I used to code C & 
C++ - but I'm stumped and don't know where to start debugging this 
problem.

Any help would be appreciated...
