If your colo host is offering slave dns for your domain names then there
must be a way for them to get the list of domain names.

They won't accept a zone-file transfer just because you try to send it
to them.

Ask your colo how you're expected to tell them the domains to secondary
for you. The way we do it for our clients is we have them put a file in
a certain location, containing the names of all their domains, and we
get it several times a day to update our slave servers.
