Hello Jerry,
Glad to hear that the ISP problem is resolved.
This error "ERR POP EOF or I/O Error" is caused by any
of the following:
1. Connection Timed out.
2. Noisy Line.
3. Mail Client/Connection disconnected in the middle of messages
download before sending "quit" command to qpopper.
4. Lost Packets due to modem flow control.
I get these messages sometimes when I hang-up a qpopper connection.

Help!!
RAQ4R Error - ERR POP EOF or I/O Error
The problem I no have seems to be isolated to one user only at present. The
are unable to get email and while watching the server process messages I
caught an error message for that users email account. The problem is I
don't know what it means or how to address it other than simply deleting the
email account or spool.
Here is the error message I'm seeing:
Mar 10 13:17:56 web2 in.qpopper[21799]: rkash at 66.213.166.33
(66.213.166.33): -ERR POP EOF or I/O Error
FYI - I have been fighting a issue with a single site on a Raq4 for the last
week that had given the appearance of a connectivity problem rather than a
problem with the server itself. That point seems to have finally been
proven and the problem seems resolved now. The ISP had made a major change
in their IP address's and the ARP table on one of their devices hadn't been
flushed. As soon as it was flushed a flurry of email came flying through
not only for this customer but the ISP even acknowledged that their own
email that had seemed to be held up came flying through as well.
Any insight into the "ERR POP EOF or I/O Error" message would really be
appreciated.
Thanks!!
