Hi
I want to be able to deliver mail to a mail server on a fixed ip through
smtp (sendmail) rather than having the mail collected via pop3. I beleive if
i set up an forward address record for the mailserver name to the fixed ip
address of the remote mailserver this should work but the mail server does
not have a permanent connection so how do i deal with this ? ie what happens
if the dns tries to pass the mail on to the mailserver but rthere is no
connection so it can not, how do i set it up so that it holds the mail until
they do have a connection ?
cheers
