[cobalt-users] RAQ 550 MYSQL 3.23.54 -- After install and reboot service will not start

Hello,

We just received our Cobalt Raq550 today and I installed all of the latest
updates ETC.. BLA BLA BLA Went to Package master to get the standard stuff--
Installed MySQL and after I rebooted the MySQL server would not start. I
found this out when I tried to set the default r00t password:

error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket
'/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)'
Check that mysqld is running and that the socket:
'/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' exists!

I was able to start is manually! I noticed that in the rc3.d directory
"K90mysql" exists- Shouldn't it of started automatically?
