Hi,
Not quite sure why this should have altered, but it has....
I am currently switching from my service provider controlling DNS, to it
being run by myself.
On my RaQ4r - I have various virtual accounts, with many of these have
additional domain names in the 'Web Server Aliases' and 'Email Server
Aliases' settings of the 'Site Settings'
Whilst my service provider had control of the DNS, all I had to do was to
enter the additional domain names into the boxes, and I could receive email
sent to any of the names, and visitors to any of the domain names, would see
the virtual site. Great.
However now that I run my own DNS I get 'relaying denied..'.
All that has changed is the DNS.
Once I add the domains to 'relay for the following domains..' I am fine -
but why did it work before and not now? Does it mean that I am making errors
with my DNS, or is there a reason why it works on external DNS and not on
DNS being served by the RaQ???
Any thoughts.....
Kind Regards,
Ian C. Walmsley
