Any one have anything "official" from Sun/Cobalt about the recall of the
XTR? I am reduced to litigation to get them to trade out their admittedly
defective product.
My attorney would like to examine what they put out. Even an email would be
helpful. My fax is 808-523-7995. I would pay for any phone charges
incurred through paypal. All relevant paperwork would be appreciated.
I'll keep everyone posted with my progress.
Aloha,
Matt

Matt,
The recall was on the OLD XTRs, purchased like 2yrs to 1 1/2yrs ago. It
was all over the internet, and most VARS new about it. They had an exchange
program setup with a dead line, likes most recalls. I do not think they
can be legally responsible if you miss the dead line.
The problem had to do with RAID issues primarily. If you do a search on
Yahoo
or even this list ... and I also think it is on their Knowledge base maybe?
You will find evidence that they did try to rectify the situation.
Thanks,
Brians.
