I see rejections in the maillog from my access list and if I check the
DNSBLs I use they're also listed there, but my access list was
apparently checked first. At least by the configuration in my
sendmail.cf that Jeff Lasman set up.
I haven't had to put a RELAY line in yet as I haven't had any whitelist
requests to test it with.

Yes. I found the various DNSBL sites a little too hard for the average
bear to understand so I set up my own page that explains the rejection
message, has a sample rejection message, has a link to the DNSBL sites
and a link to a contact form.

Unfortunately, even the simple rejection message that contains a URL is
sometimes too hard for the average user to comprehend.
