If its a RAQ3 then uncheck the aceept mail for the domain if its a Raq4
remove the domain name form the email box in the control panel else the
server will see the mail and local and not use the MX records you have in
place sending form other machines on the network will use the MX record
but just not the machine the site is on till you do that
