Re: [cobalt-users] Off Topic but appreciate Cobalt specific advice [RAQ4]

I can't give an exact like for like comparison, all I can share is my
experiences with one site we have :-

The MySQL DB only has about 1,000 records in it but the site averages about
1,000,000 hits per month. Every page within the site is ASP and has several
calls to the database.

We are hosting this on our shared server which is a Raq4 with 384Mb of
memory. The server has about 10 other MySQL sites on it and about 50 static
sites, although these are low traffic.

Used memory consistently sits at around 60 percent. I have not noticed any
performance hit on the server, and all sites are served incredibly
efficiently. I've noticed no degradation since this site's activity jumped
from it's previous average 50,000 hits per month.

Andy.
