I know this is old news, and believe me I have scoured the archives and tried the listed fixes. All to no avail! 

The active monitor reports a problem with IMAP:
'The Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) Server has not been responding since Fri 15 Nov 2002 02:45:15 PM GMT. ' 

I have made the changes to:
/usr/admserv/cgi-bin/.cobalt/services/services.cgi
ie:
$ret=Cobalt::swatch::swatch_set_service_on("imap");#
- to -
$ret=Cobalt::swatch::swatch_set_service_off("imap")

and then saved the changes:
control panel -> save changes
imap is commented # out in inetd.conf, I am realy at my wits end with this one. Can anyone make a suggestion?
