What Jeff meant was that that the cmuImport program which is part of CMU
doesn't work in the beta version of CMU which is the only version available
for the 550. So while restoring the sites and users on previous generation
RaQs using cmuImport generally involves running a single command and
crossing your fingers, cmuImport cannot be used to import 550 CMU data to a
550. So the backup files would either need to be unpacked manually after
recreating the appropriate sites/users via the GUI or a series of shell
commands, cmuImport would need to be fixed or other scripts would need to be
implemented to automate the process. Looking at cmuImport to figure out
what's broken and how to fix have been on my todo list for a while, but I've
never gotten around to it. Hope that helps clarify it.
