Yeah ... I'm thinking either that, or possibly a duplex mismatch issue.
I have a second server at the same Co-Lo, and during these outages, it is not
able to ping the problem server, so it's definitely something within the Co-
Lo. Now, interestingly enough, this server that keeps working has reported
ZERO collisions, which would indicate to me that it's running on a full-
duplex link. Since the Cobalt is not hard coded for full-duplex, it would
have had to autonegotitate that setting. On the problem link, I'm seeing
about 10% collision rate. Seems odd for some servers to be full duplex and
others not ... so that might help to further the argument that there's a
network issue.
