Some of the early Qube 2700 did not support net booting/OS Restore
(you had to send the unit back to Cobalt for rebuilding, or take the
drive out and put it in a 'real' MIPS Qube that did support OS
Restore). I don't recall how to tell if you have a non-net-booting
Qube though.
Or, as others have said, it might simply be the NIC in your PC.
