Yes, there is one reason. Some times, we move some sites from one server to
another, for performance reasons...
And, we want to put a Anti-virus & Spam solution. This is a easy way to pay
only for 1 Anti-Virus ;)
And, if a web server is unavailable, then the chances that the mail server
break also is small...
Do we realy need only 1 IP, if we give Webmail ? This require Apache to
run.... Or don't we need to install Webmail on the mail server ???
Our customers love Webmail...
I remember that i read something about a Apache limit to 255 sites. So, if
we have to install Webmail on the Mail server, the we will have a problem
with only 1 IP if we put the 300 (and growing) sites... No ?
No, there the servers are not making there own DNS. We have only 2 DNS
servers, with the same and unique domain.
