There was a article in Interactive way back, before the weekly mag folded
and turned into eweekly, that stated and was quoting some stuff about the
Sun buyout of Cobalt. It said in the article that Sun/Cobalt was working on
a white box version of the Cobalt OS and they didn't exactly say they would
be releasing but that it was being pondered. Never read another thing about
it. So the Cobalt OS must have been being looked at and maybe in R+D phase
at some time to do this.
