Points to ponder:
1. There was so much business for RaQ systems that:
Sun continued to support them and cater to the customer base
2. The industry, realizing the large number of RaQ server owners:
Jumped to the fore offering replacement OS/GUI management
systems for the RaQ,
Recognized the unique nature of the Cobalt Implimentation and
made accomodations to allow applications to run on RaQ systems
I suppose there are more...but it seems to me that we are a very small
universe, and the lack of support and committment by Sun to us...and
the fact that the outsdie vendors ain't courting us leads me to believe
it will be a very cold day in Hell before we see any quantum changes
in our plight.
