I have never messed with bind/named files manually so I'm not sure how this
would work. Figured I would ask some of the gurus...
Have a RAQ3 that runs primary DNS. I want to have a set of file(s) ready to
quickly switch dns for the sites to a different IP.
Where are the zone files kept? I know /etc/named/ holds all the
pri.domain.com zone files, but I'm wondering if each one has to be changed
or if there is a master file like "records" that could be moved in and named
restarted to regenerate the zone files.
What is the best/quickest way to switch over DNS from one IP to another on a
large number of DNS zones?
Any help is appreciated.
