Isn't it a bit too early in the year to get so testy, Jerry?

I'm concerned not about mtbf, or how much data you can move in whatever
timeframe.  I'm concerned about duty cycle.

Check with the hard-drive manufacturers to see if the laptop drives are
designed for 24/7 duty.

I don't know about you, but it costs me well over the cost of the drive,
to go to the data center to replace it.  In fact I can buy a used RaQ4
for less than the cost of rebuilding one that goes down at the data
center.

But that's only my experience.
