Some background:
I purchased a RaQ 4i recently that was supposed to be "new in box" but
didn't appear to be since there was already a site setup on it. I have
deleted the site and put mine on it but I wanted to reset the admin
and root passwords. I pushed the little button on the front with a
paper clip and it allowed me to reset the admin password but I cannot
su to root. It gives me the following:
[admin admin]$ su -
su: incorrect password
I ssh to the RaQ and login as myself, su - admin, which works, then
try to su - ( or just su ) and get the above message.
Three questions:
1) Should I be able to su and become root?
2) Should I worry about this since I have changed the admin password?
3) I am considering doing a reinstall with the OSRCD. Should I do that?
Thanks,
Justin
