It shouldn't matter what Verisign does. All that matters is if the
registrar that hosts the nameserver properly updates ns1.sample.com >
IP. The problems I've seen are ISPs that individually ignore TTL and
have caching DNS for days and days. Unless you're telling your customers
to change their DNS info, instead of just pointing your ns.sample.com to
a new IP all customer sites should work at about the same time on the
new IP once the DNS info propagates. Changing the TTL a few days before
the changes helps with some ISPs.
