Correct. The UI and installer portions of the XTR are the "new"
Sausalito stuff. The backend is RaQ4-like Perl, though. Sausalito
wasn't fully finished when XTR was originally launched, so it's kind
of a half-breed...

No, as there is a model number check contained within the install
routine, and if info in /etc/build doesn't match what the PKG is
expecting, it won't install.
