Re: [cobalt-users] [RAQ4] IP address not working as expected... what to check?



All your IPS are bound with a netmask of 255.255.255.248, which is a /29, or
8 IPs (6 usuable).

i.e.:
.160 is the network
.161 - .166 is usable
.167 is broadcast (not usable)

I think it's a matter of netmask confusion.   Providing your ISP is
providing you a a /28, you will need to correct the netmask to
255.255.255.240.

Since .167 is the broadcast of a /29, that's why it's not working right.
