Ours run generally about 30c. In most parts of the world a moderately
populated data center will always need to run ac, 24/7, as the servers
generate a lot of heat. I don't know why a colo would turn down their
thermostat at night; it would cost them rather than save them; I've
never seen a colo that had to be heated. My guess is your servers do
less at night, until about 4 am (server time) when they start running
cron.daily.
