So I went and followed all the instructions for installing SpamAssassin and
I think at the end of the day, I ended up with two separate Perl
installations on my machine. One is the stock one, and the other the 5.8
stuff. All of the SpamAssassin Pods are installed in the 5.8 install, but
when I try to use SpamAssassin, it ends up using the stock perl, which can't
find the pods. I'm hopelessly confused at this point.
I get, no joke, about 100 spams a night and it's killing me. I really need
to figure out how to get this working -- if anyone has any insights, please
help.
Thanks,
Rick Eames
