Has anyone tried Site Studio from psoft (www.psoft.net) on a Raq4 and

Does it work well etc etc..
I have site studio on an raq3. I had psoft do the installation. It took
awhile for them to get it running. I'm not a unix wizard but I believe
they ended up installing a separate tomcat and postgres from that which
is on the raq. My raq3 has about 6 web sites, and maybe a dozen users,
so it is not heavily used. I had to upgrade the memory to 512 megs
because SS is memory hungry. I have to restart the SS server every
couple of weeks because it goes south.
The users which have used SS are pleased for the most part. My
recommendation would be that if you are planning on having many users,
then set up an raq dedicated to SS. I'm saying this because of the high
memory usage of the application. Even the techs at psoft said this is
so.
So in short, yes, you can install SS on an raq, but it would be better
to let psoft do the installation. The program is easy to use for non
html users. And lastly watch the memory usage.
