(*sigh*) Or instead of dealing with the few commercial people on this
mailing list (who should be hawking their wares through private email, IMHO),
you could always spend 20-minutes researching the archives of this list for a
simple gotcha, and then 10-minutes installing it yourself from the source
tarball. Done, no muss, no fuss. And here's a surprise; if you run into any
trouble, there are a whole bunch of us who will cheerfully help you out of it
WITHOUT charging you a nickel, and WIHTOUT trying to sell you our services.
THAT'S what this list is about, regardless of some people's misconceptions.
Honest to my grandma, installing files from source is not rocket
science...the install scripts are designed to make it simple, and armed with
the workaround for Cobalt's silly rewrites, you can install with confidence.
This whole dependance on RPMs and PKGs is just plain silly.
