That's my concern as well.  I think, however, we can use rsync back up
the entire /home directory, and perhaps the /etc directory.  I'm not too
sure about the /var/db directory; I think I'd be happier exporting the
database information to a location in /home before backing up home.

And I don't see an automated restore as being completely safe, either
<frown>.

We've had great results using CMU restores on other RaQ platforms, so I
hope Jeff Bilicki can solve the problem soon.

Does anyone know if CMU in fact makes backups we can do manual restores
from?  If so this may be the ideal way to go.
