I've installed it on the RaQ4 and use it in a number of sites to reduce
image size, add text labels, etc. (and "etc." can go on and on and...). The
last version I have a record of installing on a RaQ4 is ImageMagick-5.4.9
and I installed the following first (not all are necessary depending on how
you want ImageMagick built): zlib-1.1.4, bzip2-1.0.2, freetype-2.0.8,
jasper-1.500.4, jbigkit-1.2 (JBIG), libpng-1.0.14, jpeg-6b,
ghostscript-7.30, mpeg2, tiff-v3.5.7, libxml2-2.4.24 and libwmf-0.2.6. Yes,
that's a lot. And I don't recall if I installed less than most recent
stable versions for any because of conflicts, but it did work with those
versions. You may be able to find an RPM or binary distribution that works
out of the box on the RaQ4, but just make sure it includes support for all
of the functionality you want/need. If you run into specific problems, post
details here and I'll help if I'm available. Good luck.
