I doubt very much that Sun will stop offering support. After all, their
professional services division charges a few hundred $ per hour to support
clients. And though Sun has room for improvement with the timeliness and QA
of their patches, they are continuing to release patches for models that
were obsolete years ago (RaQ2 patches were released as recently as 2 months
ago and it's been obsolete since '99).

I haven't heard that Sun plans on shuttering the Cobalt division and since
these mailing lists are for all Cobalt products (more than a dozen have been
released) I don't think you have to worry. Besides, there will always be
folks who are willing and able to assist other Cobalt administrators for
free or professionally at lower costs than Sun professional services. And
if for some reason these lists are not kept active there are other lists,
sites and forums that currently exist or will be formed to address the needs
of the Cobalt community.
