RE: [cobalt-users] [RaQ3] upgrading perl ? a problem?

i have upgraded to 5.8 because i needed it for a specific application.
Indeed, it does break the GUI, and even the control buttons and display on
the back of the unit.

My solution was to leave the original perl binary in place, and add another
perl-58 binary which is called in the script for the application using the
specific features.

Bob.

hi all
Has anyone tried to upgrade perl on a RaQ3 box? I would like to upgrate
to the latest 5.8.0 but I'm not sure how the web GUI will react on the
upgrading.
