I am trying to install the RaQ3-RaQ4-MySQL-3.23.37-1.pkg on a Raq 4r
and it has been a couple hours now into the install... using the
Cobalt GUI software install page. I'm thinking I should have used wget
but oh well. I left the office for awhile and when I came back there
was a little gray dialog box that said "document contains no data".
Only webpages I had open were the Cobalt GUI and the pkmaster's
download page. Using Mozilla, on a Win2k box.
Question is: I'll wait a bit cause it is a big file (8.7 Mb) but I
have a 1.5 Mbs cable modem and it should have been done. So how can I
tell if something screwed up? Any way to trouble shoot, any log file
that would have tracked any errors or whatever? /var/log/messages
didn't say anything..
(I'm new at this.)
Good grief, don't come down on me with the wrath of the archive search!
I finally found the answer there.. the file is "too big" ?? and you need
to wget it to your raq and open it from there. Too many mysql install
messages there that didn't have the answer, but finally found one that
did. Thanks!
