euhhh .. nothing special.

this is what I ended up doing:

first installed razor-agents .. then ...

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Mail::SpamAssassin
install NET::DNS
q

the NET::DNS activates the BlackList feature in spamassassin.

the I got the latest tarball Mail-Spamassasin from www.spamassassin.org
did the perl Makefile.PL, make, make install.

then copied the RedHat shell script from the spamd director to 
/etc/rc.d/init.d/spamd

did a
/etc/rc.d/init.d/spamd start

(should be noted that the stop does not work correctly, you need to kill 
the pid to stop the daemon)

Then, in my procmailrc (custom.rc in my case, as I use an anti-virus 
procmail thingy) I added the
following lines:

DROPPRIVS=yes

:0fw
* < 256000
| spamc


... and thats it.

you should have a directory in /etc/mail/ called spamassassin which 
contains the local.cf file for global server configs,
and then in each users home you should find a folder called .spamassassin 
with private configs (don't know what happens
when you add a new user).

All incoming mail is filtered now including vusers, aliases, mailing lists 
.. all.

hmmm, probably forgot something, but I have done this now on three servers 
and find that the combination of Razor, Black Lists, and spamassassin works 
a treat ... I get one or two coming through, but so far, no false tagging.
