Not specifically a Cobalt only ??

What I'm referring to is a Linux version of the Windows command:

IPCONFIG /ALL /RELEASE /RENEW (Windows NT/2000/XP)

or

WINIPCFG (Windows 9x/ME)

The reason Im interested in finding the Linux variation is so that I can
easily and quickly determine a Linux box's IP/Subnet/Gateway/DNS
assignments. It would also be nice to be know how to be able to
release/renew a DHCP assigned address from a command prompt.

Obviously I don't have the depth of knowledge with Linux that many of
you
have.. but I'm working on it.

Jerry
