[cobalt-users] SMTP server keeps crashing ... HELP!?

Hello everyone -

I have a Cobalt RaQ3 - my SMTP server keeps crashing
and not responding, and only comes back after a reboot
of the entire server.  

As far as I can tell, there are no "mail bombs" or
"spam" attacks; however, I am noticing something
strange when viewing the /var/spool/mqueue ...

I've rm * and taken everything out of the mail queue -
within a few minutes, there will be several docs in
the mqueue that are 0KB .. when I pico these, there is
nothing in them - just a 0KB file ... and then, there
begins to appear emails in the mqueue that are like
this:  (i've changed the actual email address to a
generic "user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" ... where the users
are actual users on the server ...

Slowly, these keep piling up ... and I don't know why,
or where they are coming from!??

Any suggestions?  I've rebooted the server several
times, and removed all docs from the mqueue ... they
just keep coming back.
