Because you bought a RaQ3? Sun didn't make the RaQ3? It was never sold
by Sun? I own a mid-1990's Volvo. Why can't I get the latest Volvo for
free?

So they should just give away their work or spend thousands of extra
dollars developing software for a product they never sold that was "end
of life" a while ago?
Like you said, it's an appliance. There are newer washers and dryers but
Maytag is volunteering to upgrade my old one.
