It depends how you define "easy", Jerry.
It's actually pretty easy to modify the perl. If you don't feel
comfortable modifying it yourself, let me know if you want to disable
the entire function, or just the non-changeable contents (allowing for
your own contents in the "intro" file) and I'll modify the file for you
and send you the modified file. Then you'll just have to copy it over
your current majordomo file, and make sure you've retained the original
ownership and rights settings.
