So... if you have customers on old Comodo certs on the same box as a
recently issued cert, then you have to get their certs RE-ISSUED with the
new root cert - or they will CEASE WORKING when you install the new root
certificate bundle.
According to Comodo support, there is no way to install both root certs on
the same server, so you either move the customers, or get them to re-issue
the certs.
While this is a giant pain in the arse,
I just checked with Comodo, and the re-issue if you are using the old
bundle is free.
So *at least* it won't cost your customers anything, and tbh, it's probably
in their interests as the new cert, supposedly, is better recognized.
