RE: [cobalt-users] RaQ3 Memory Upgrade - Not Allowed!

If it's advertised as being upgradable to 256MB or 512MB, then in this
case it is false advertisement.

If I can't prove it's a dodgy board before upgrading - no chance of a
replacement.

If I tried to upgrade my RaQ I would lose my warranty and if it died -
no replacement.

Do a backup.
Install RAM
If it doesn't fail, you're fine
If it fails, put in the original RAM, reload system.
Buy Sun upgrade (if you are very rich)
Install.
If it doesn't fail, you just spent a lot of money for RAM
If it fails, call them on it, make them take back their faulty RAM along with the non-upgradable faulty product, and give you the 550.

What else can you try to do?
