[cobalt-users] horribly off-topic cross post

hey guys,
i'm stumped with this issue. tryed a m$ board and of course got nothing useful. since i know that this list is populated exclusively with geniuses and gentlemen (and ladies), i'm sure you'll at least ponder this imponderable, so here it goes . . . . . . . 



dear newsgroup,

  i have been developing this page:

for the last month.  it had some bugs initially with its
java scripting, but something inexplicable has occured.

when i open this page on ie 6.0 running xp home or 5.5
running win2k the browser freezes (worse in xp) and then
crashes.

when i open the same page in ie 5.2x on the mac, it
displays quickly and beautifully.

i have never seen anything like it.  can anyone explain
what might cause this?

i was editing the page when it occurred, but not really
doing any major repairs.

suggesstions are welcome  . .  . . .

feel free to ignore this if you wish, or flame me for being blatant, but i'm frustrated..
