Well, the cobalt isn't responding. There were hundreds of zombie web
processes, and load was climbing so I rebooted it. Hooked up a console,
and during teh reboot it stops while the "Adding Swap" line is on the
screen. On teh LCD screen, it says checking disks, then the little
blinking in the corner goes solid, while the disk light is out. Is there
a way around this, or is it dead?
If its dead, I have an extra cobalt I'm going to replace it with. I have
restores going back months on another server and I'd like to do a bulk
restore to get the new system up to speed with the old one. Can I copy
all the archive files to a directory and will the cobalt bring everything
back to where it was?
Thanks
Mark
(frantic right now..)
