[cobalt-users] how send email using mailing list ?

hi all

am sorry..i must be stupid..but i continue to no undestand how i can send a
email (using outlook) to the mailing list of my raq4...

normally in outlook i set the email always like

POP in: mail.mydomain.com
SMTP out: mail.mydomain.com

like that i can send and receve email without problem..is just when i want
send to my mailing list i don't work...

and on the server the email alia are just the name like " info " or "
webmaster "....without put the full adress like info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Is your site email a catch-all account.  Is there user-id called "info", if
there is not then you need to subscribe your email in the list as
"email-alias@xxxxxxxxxxxx".  The default subscription only recognizes the
email user-ids on the Raq and not the email address. So if you have a
catch-all account with name "xyz" what gets subscribed is the actual xyz
pop3 
account/User-ID.

log into te server and send you email using pine...

I think you can setup an Outlook account using the smtp, your server, and
pop, your server, and send using that account...
