[cobalt-users] gateway accessibility

Anyone know how a Qube 3 checks to see if the gateway is reachable? Does it
try to ping the gateway? I continually get emails from my Q3s saying they
can't reach the gateway, but when I take a look at the box I can reach the
gateway fine. My gateway is not pingable form the "trust" interface, so this
would explain their problem if the Qube uses a ping to test it. Also, if I
were to turn on network monitoring in the Q3 interface, will this disable
monitoring other network items too, or just the gateway monitor?
