[cobalt-users] AWStats on a Raq550

I've been able to install AWstats on a Raq550 and even have included it in
each virtual site's Usage Information menu in the admin GUI. I have a
script that runs the update for all sites and works really well. The Admins
can see their stats from the gui and see the details. (I USED to use
Webalizer but AWstats give so much more)

The problem I have is that the log files are not able to be read by the
script if I run it as a cron.daily job for more than a couple days. If I
run the script as root it works fine. I discovered that the log rotation on
the server makes the owner of the web.log files in /home/.sites/12/77/logs
to SITE77-l with a group of site77 and only allows read and write(not
needed) access to owner and group. I tried having the script grant read to
everyone but this only works when I run it as root. Which then works TILL
the log rotation clicks in and then I have to run the script manually to get
it to work.

Can anyone shed some light on which user runs the cron.daily job and how to
fix it so that I don't have to tap the server every few days.
