Yes it should be 'c'

I originaly used of=/dev/hdb then thought that you are probably going to
use the 2nd ide controller and your extra drive will be a master and that
would make it hdc, but I forgot to change the 'a' to 'b'

If the extra drive is on the same ide cable as your 'a' drive (slave) then
it would be /dev/hdb

As long as the if=/dev/hda you won't 'screw' anything up.
