I added (example) webpresencegroup.net in the email alias field of the Vsite
with the following DNS entries on our DNS boxes, running on separate and
dedicated servers (Not on the Raq's):

A-webpresencegroup.net
A-www.webpresencegroup.net
A-mail.webpresencegroup.net

MX-webpresencegroup.net >> mail.webpresencegroup.net
MX-www.webpresencegroup.net >> mail.webpresencegroup.net

The odd thing is that on the 3 it is automatically added. Using Webmin on
both boxes, the 3 again has all hosted sites added, using the short name
(example) webpresencegroup.net, and the host/domain aliases shows the short
and the host name of www. Or the appropriate host name. The Raq4 does not.

I've spoken with Gerald about the MX and I know some do the opposite of what
I have, pointing mail. To the short name. So, if this is not a Raq issue but
instead a DNS issue, what is the Bind "standard" way? According to
Sun/Cobalt manual, we should be creating a domain.com pointing to
mail.domain.com and clicking Accept Email for Domain and by checking Web
Access by Domain removes the host name from the setup, thus creating a
ServerAlias on the Raq3. I have been told that the mail.domain.com is just
really an IP on the box to take mail.

Maybe it is just me and getting used to a different way of making sure the
Raq4 sets up everything proper.

Thanks everyone,

Dave
